Loving the new username 🥑 xx

They have done more work in 2 weeks that the previous tenants have done in 4 years. Will be a topper addition to the town. They have applied for a licence until 3 AM every day, so although they will not be open that late necessarily, at least they will have the option if approved

On a separate note, I believe Sunderland will be in the Premier League before the German Kebab Shop opens on HSW

No chance of the kebab place ever opening

New signs up. Look a bit tacky. Though I’ll give the artisan kitchen a go.
Sunderland could do with a couple more micro pubs in the town centre like so I’m hoping this is a success but I agree that sign looks shite, just had a mooch on their insta

Diegos is good for independent beers
Only really stuck me head in, think it was after the Luton home leg but it was hired out for the night. Unsure about the signage on that one too mind a mate lives across the street and until I told him it was a bar he was under the impression it was a dessert place

Where would the best spot be? plenty of footfall in that area, anyone on an ale trail would go there either side of Chaplins / Fitzies, and it will be reassuringly expensive to keep the daytime pisspots away.

They dont have Madri so the call centre millionaires might give it a swerve
Plenty of footfall but very little of what they'd be aiming to attract I'd have thought. It's on a street of bars that are at the opposite end of the spectrum and it's opposite Ttonic isn't it?

Hope it does well but it'll stand out like a sore thumb on that side of town.

Its Opposite the junction of Ttonic, 30 yards from Chaplins, 10 yards from Spoons and 50 yards from Fitzies. It should do ok, but the ideal location would probably have been the Church Street Burger place, if you were to choose

Agreed that it would be better over that end like. I'll still have a look in mind. It sounds decent.
