Not everything is literal mate. Fender is a Saudi-celebrating Mag (although I don’t mind him generally) so its not totally random.
I’m sure Willie McFaul or whoever didn’t sign Mirandinha in a Ford Cortina but no one got sniffy about that.

And that's fair enough (although it's slightly cringe IMO). Point was more about people saying football chants shouldn't be taken literal. I think everyone knows that. From what I'm seeing it's more people rolling their eyes at Mags getting mentioned again.
