30000 is a very decent figure for our first game after relegation to league 1. It reminds me a bit of when the skunks went down in 2009. First game at home for them just under 37000. I would expect them to probably get the same as us if they were in league 1. Would have been interesting to see them relegated last time without the benitez effect as you can be sure their crowds would have dwindled. They think they are different in that aspect but they really aren't. They would be down to 30000 and less if they had put up with what we have had last few years and any of them that say different is a liar.

It’s not. He was threatened by lads off skunkers wasn’t he ? Said some of them were Gremlins or Darlicks or something like that ....whatever they do.

And yes Posa got the same treatment sadly. Was also a canny lad but the mags didn’t like those two ‘kissing Mackem hoop’ so arranged for them to be threatened with violence. So not horeshit at all, however unpalatable it might be

Funnily enough, I'm actually on the bus to Palma to pick up our passports, as the wife left them in our apartment last week.

I can only dream of a life as full as yours to be fair.
