If Benitez is such a clever man and wants to challenge for Europe, etc, why did he go to Newcastle?

Ashley obviously has little ambition for the club going back to Pardew.

He allowed the club to be relegated twice.

If Benitez had real ambition he wouldn't have gone to Newcastle imo.

Just realised Salah scored 32 last season. Last time I trust shite information on here.

But I don't think Marcus Stewart was a better player than Eric Cantona (19 goals in a season vs 18). Fair play to @Banks for thinking differently though.

He is not bank rolling us though, the rest of your statement is ok though, its all opinions however.
I personally think the squad is ok and will be enough to survive, just, a couple of injuries to key players and we are fooked however. I also think Mr Benitez is a top coach too.

Meanwhile in division 1

Enjoy it man, you should win a shed load of games, have the place buzzing again and the matches be fun rather than a chore. I wouldn't swap but I would swap the feel good factor you all should be having now. It should be like a fresh lick of paint, looks fantastic. Enjoy!!

I moved no goalposts. that was you using a winger to compare defensive midfielders :lol:

Andy Cole was shite with his multiple league titles and Champions League titles like wasnt he.

Salah will be lucky to get half as many this season in my opinion. I dont think hes at that level.
