It’s a ceremonial event in an autonomous part of London which celebrates its history, tradition and ongoing status. That’s it really.
 
Funded by the corporation of London and their membership.

Apparently if you stand in one point it takes an hour and a quarter for the whole parade to pass. That’s some parade.
