Depends if the cycle lane is any good.....I'd still rather use the road if the cycle lane isn't fit for purpose.
Should be illegal if theres a cycle lane available. Hopefully it becomes law one day

I’d happily use the cycle lane up the coast if it becomes law that pedestrians can’t walk the wrong way along it.
Spending money on a cycle lane when there is a cycle lane there already and a discussion about extra cost seems to be a contradiction to me like.

Not sure hoying a strip of tarmac across a nice grassed area is a great idea although I guess cost would be an even bigger factor.
Neither is getting rid of a parking strip the length of the Leas which hundreds of people use daily, to put a cycle lane in when there is already one there.
