As a cyclist good to see.Upgrade to Coastal Cycle Route Gets Underway - South Tyneside Council

That's within the lawand when it's all finished you'll still get arsehole cyclists riding 2 abreast on the road with the vacant cycle route right next to them!
And divs in cars who don't realise that it shortens the length of road required for a safe overtake.and when it's all finished you'll still get arsehole cyclists riding 2 abreast on the road with the vacant cycle route right next to them!
Thick as ferk though. That's within the law
Thick as ferk though.
Should be illegal if theres a cycle lane available. Hopefully it becomes law one dayDepends if the cycle lane is any good.....I'd still rather use the road if the cycle lane isn't fit for purpose.
Like banning cars from all roads when there is a motorway or dual carriageway nearby?Should be illegal if theres a cycle lane available. Hopefully it becomes law one day
Not the same thing now is itLike banning cars from all roads when there is a motorway or dual carriageway nearby?
If it wasn't for cyclists, there would be no tarmac roads... there's one for you

I agree this isn’t the worst idea but it will come down to cost
Worra boot me binsSpending money on a cycle lane when there is a cycle lane there already and a discussion about extra cost seems to be a contradiction to me like.
Not sure hoying a strip of tarmac across a nice grassed area is a great idea although I guess cost would be an even bigger factor.Personally don't get that one, there's a huge piece of grass 1m away to the East. You could literally create a nice cycle path further East going through the field which would actually be pleasant rather than forcing bikes along the side of a road.
Neither is getting rid of a parking strip the length of the Leas which hundreds of people use daily, to put a cycle lane in when there is already one there. Not sure hoying a strip of tarmac across a nice grassed area is a great idea although I guess cost would be an even bigger factor.
which they're not doing...Neither is getting rid of a parking strip the length of the Leas which hundreds of people use daily, to put a cycle lane in when there is already one there.
Just can't see the point in running a strip of tarmac across a pleasant, grassed area, even if it is for 'healthy' cycling. Not sure hoying a strip of tarmac across a nice grassed area is a great idea although I guess cost would be an even bigger factor.
Maybe quote the OP then.which they're not doing...
Unless you take your bikeNot there.
Like they’re supposed to according to the Highway Codeand when it's all finished you'll still get arsehole cyclists riding 2 abreast on the road with the vacant cycle route right next to them!
