Not that I've seen and err my OH lives 2 mins walk away and we're down there all the time. Pedestrians in the cycle lane is more the problem.

Its a long walk from the grotto to trow rocks innit?Grass
There is a canny stretch between trow rocks and marsden car parks, demonstrated by how many people use the spaces on the road currently.
The sundial, dunes and sand dancer are not really car parks for the leas.
Well if you’re out to enjoy the massive open green space that surely you can walk what 10 mins max to it. If you want a drink or a meal in the bamburgh again walk about 10, if that’s too much for you park in the streets to the front of the bamburgh.
That's my pointIts a long walk from the grotto to trow rocks innit?
having cycled down there, the pedestrians inabilty to walk without having their faces buried in a mobile phone is concerning.Having walked down there, the cyclists lack of spacial awareness is concerning
LmaoNot there.

But will it be free??so parking remains, damn them pesky cyclists!
There’s no Area 51 on there eitherwheres the leas in south shields? I've had a look on google maps and there's no such place
Simple really. The foundation is already there for the lane by using the parking bay and will make it a hell of a lot cheaper to build.Personally don't get that one, there's a huge piece of grass 1m away to the East. You could literally create a nice cycle path further East going through the field which would actually be pleasant rather than forcing bikes along the side of a road.
Happens everywhere.having cycled down there, the pedestrians inabilty to walk without having their faces buried in a mobile phone is concerning.
err okNot that I've seen and err my OH lives 2 mins walk away and we're down there all the time. Pedestrians in the cycle lane is more the problem.
After Commuting home from Durham earlier, I think most will just park in the cycle lane…People will probably just park on the grass
About a mile and a half in old moneyIts a long walk from the grotto to trow rocks innit?
They'll go to the superior twin resorts further south!Looks like all the car parking is being taken out for a cycle lane
Where will people park in the summer?
That would be too sensible to doPersonally don't get that one, there's a huge piece of grass 1m away to the East. You could literally create a nice cycle path further East going through the field which would actually be pleasant rather than forcing bikes along the side of a road.
