It really is and was proved on finals day. It just needs tweaking with England lads involved and lose this and the fixtures would be easily scheduled
 
My favourite thing about the 16.4 is the constant, North Korean style propaganda from everyone on the broadcast about how great the atmosphere is and how exciting it is.

You can hear a pin drop in the crowd and they are going at a run a ball.

Is this really how the youth to be inspired to play? Dad that Lintott , how do you bowl a ball that slow and dad why are they not hitting fours or sixes

I feel like I went into this last year with more of an open mind than most traditional cricket fans. I hope it does get new people into the sport and works as a platform to improve the womens game.

It's just baffling as to why they couldn't put this level of investment into the blast and got the same (or even better) results.

Yes but this maybe the first time they’ve come. Not everyone will be exactly the same crowd, year in and out

thats a very naive post of yours . I would lay odds most this crowd was at the t20s and enjoyed Hampshire winning

this is like a gloried exhibition match at half pace

Whether you like it or lot it’s the better 50% of players from the T20 Blast, so over a season the standard will be half a notch higher. Anyone thinking otherwise is kidding themselves.

Welsh Fire have been crap but counties will have various crap days in the Blast too. It’s cricket.
