Do you mean Curse of the Cat People, the sequel to Cat People? Possibly not the best example as it has little connection to the first film and is more fantasy than horror. Problem is a lot of people going into it expecting it to be like a modern jumpscare horror e.g. ConjuringObviously doesn’t have the kind of impact it did back when it was first released in 1973, but still recognised as an enduring iconic horror film.
Just been re-released to celebrate its 50th anniversary - 50 years man! And it’s still talked about to this day.
