Probably due to the length and pictures taking so much server space up or something technical like that.

However, it should be standard that when a thread is locked there should be a message stating the reasons why.

Given I have asked, it's been acknowledged, and subsequently ignored.

It won't be that.

If that were the answer there would be no issue. The pictures are linked anyway

It's the only reason I can think of for it to be potentially locked although I have read/been told that if a post/thread is reported often enough it automatically locks.
 
redz at the Barnes got a couple of poor reviews. However can't see the problem because there is far worse reviews of all description on trip advisor.
