The extended standing section

Anyone know if there’s a process for moving or swapping people out of it who’d rather sit?

I’m in the family section with my 2 sons and we’d rather stand if the option was there. There must be some supporters who are dead against their seats becoming standing. Noticed it was on the front page of the Echo yesterday.

I saw the collective minutes, my seat has gone from sitting to standing and I wasn’t consulted/offered anything. I’m not arsed cos I prefer to stand anyway, but that won’t be the case for everyone.
You’d think there’d be a few pissed off. Anyone worth contract rather than just club emai? Doubt I’d get much joy that way

I'm not sure about mine. I feel that if I complain, query or try to swap it will end badly for me

Surely it would have made more sense for the club to confirm which areas would become standing. Those with existing season tickets there have the option to request a move, and equally those who don't sit there have the option to apply to move to the standing section. The club could then essentially do a load of swaps to make sure those who want to sit can do

That becomes the start of the problems.

I think most if not all in that area already stand, so I'll be surprised if anyone was bothered.
