The Derby and Local Leagues

Is there any precedent re rearranging fixtures due to the derby? Can see teams struggling to field 11 on that day. Teams cancelled games for England Germany in the WC which I personally couldn't give a monkeys about but surely this affects people in the NE more.

My memory could be playing tricks here but the cup final of 92 the DSL wanted to rearrange all fixtures and the only team that voted against it was Sunderland

Remember the first leg of the play-off game in 1990 I went and played a game straight after the game, got there a bit late.

if the game is stays a Saturday game then I reckon alot of games will be re-arranged to the Sunday Tom. In our league you can change upto 2 fixtures per season.

One way or another it will affect your game with Backworth. I would look at re-arranging it tbh
