Just show them a cucumber and they'll jump/run a mile. One of the most bizarre things I've seen and never knew about until recently despite having a few cats in the family over the years. Not sure if it's a genetic thing about being scared of snakes or what but it's mental.

I was getting ready to gan out and the cat was watching me. My belt was on the floor and I accidentally stood on it causing the buckle to give a little tinkle. The cat leapt on in a millisecond.
I don’t know what he thought it was when it was inert but a snake was all we could think it became live.
I’m sure he thinks he saved my life.

Just going off pictures it looks like some kind of flexible cover specially made to fit over the cat on Black Cat house.

Would be great if they could auction it off and raise some money but it seems to serve a specific purpose, not sure what use it would be on its own.
