Haven't see The Bear but Succession would have to be best for me with an honourable mention to Poker Face.

The Bear is good. Not great. But, the characters get better and it’s a good enjoyable show.

Slow Horses was/ is superb. Very good script and casting and is doing well into it’s third season.

Yes, it was released without much hype, no real big name actors and the trailer made it look like yet another soapy cop show but it turned out to be something special.

Not a great fan of lists like this as how do you compare The Bear to something like Once Upon a Time in Northern Ireland?
I thought The Bear was an incredible piece of work. Brilliantly written, acted and directed, but whilst I admired it more than most, I probably enjoyed Slow Horses more. Blue Lights was great and Succession probably falls into the admired category as well.
Documentary wise, Once Upon a Time was superb.

i think the Xmas and forks episodes of The Bear are the best bits of telly I've watched this year. Still randomly pop into my head and I've never heard that love story song by Taylor Swift in the same way since.
