The best league in England is... the Championship!

Was chatting to some Bournemouth fans who were gutted they got promoted.
They enjoyed it last time and felt they had a chance, this time they know it will be a matter of time (probably this season) when they are relegated. They have loved the championship and aren’t looking forward to this coming season

Few would admit it, and ofcourse nobody wants to get relegated, but after our 10 seasons of mediocracy in the Premiership, I remember having some renewed vigour about our season in the Championship, shame it went so horribly wrong.

It's their golden period. I wouldn't be surprised to see Bournemouth back in league one or two within the next ten years.

For me the main reason that Sunderland being in the Championship is a better experience than the PL is the away days.
It's a lot easier to get tickets, there's more northern grounds, there's more chance to takeover entire ends or even sides.
Away matches in general are more enjoyable & memorable than home matches as our travelling support is more positive, so more singing & less whinging, probably more drinking as well.
Losing an away match can still be a grand day out, losing a home match is usually just depressing.
Also success means us pushing for promotion not just avoiding relegation

They enjoyed the season as they were mostly winning which results in promotion. If they were a mid table championship side they wouldn't have enjoyed it so much.
I've said this before and nobody agrees with me, would rather be a entertaining Championship club than a dull Premier League club
If we just keep on missing out on promotion for a number of seasons our supporters will get very frustrated.
