Great news, I was involved in the internal glass screens and doors on the initial refurbishment so there maybe some additional work to be had.

It’s a shame that the cinema couldn’t be relocated on to crowtree (incl old ice rink) and linked through the bridges and new minster landscape works, as it would help get a much better food offer / hall as it could benefit the empire, cinema and auditorium. Also make that part of the city centre much busier after 5pm as well as being close to Vaux and Keel sq.

My company is doing the mech and elec services design. Sunderland seems to be pushing on with quite a bit of development at the minute.

Found it to be absolutely nowt like a Wetherspoons when I’ve been in, and drink selection tends to be one of the few things spoons pubs are okay for. Can’t comment on the food.
