A don't care what anyone says, the win for England is still on IMO.

Depends when they declare. Its either going to be a a potential likliehood for both sides or nether I'd say. Harder for England though.

Gerrin, another (albeit irrelevant) wicket

I was just about to post that aswell

AUS getting a bit careless here if you ask me

How? They don't need to protect their wickets with their lead, just score quickly. If they want to win protecting the wicket is only going to slow their chances.

I admire your optimism but I think it's the blind kind. Just don't see us scoring at the rate we'll probabaly need to with rain interruptions. Plus we don't do well with scoreboard pressure.

The pitch isn't really deteriorating and with players like cook, trott, root, bell, KP in the lineup I think we are capable of chasing 400+ if we get a full day tomorrow.

At least two of them would have to put in their best attacking performances for about three years to get that target in a day. Only KP there is quick scorer, Root and Bell are reasonable but Cook and Trott are gravediggers. And you can gurantee Cook is going to tell them to occupy rather than chase.

Hmm wriitng all this I've changed my mind, it's Australia or no-one now

Only possible results are draw or Aus win. No chance England will chase this down such has been their fragility in the last 12 months or so

Why the fuck did cook review that :roll:

was obvious it hit the pad

worth a go with one review left and an expected declaration on the cards soon. It also uses time up.

Dont agree with it though

Imagine England batting on in a must win game with a lead of 330 and bad weather forecast . . .botham would be having a fit !
