Dharmasena apparently.

No surprises there then.

And Tony Hill, who gave the original decision, is no stranger to controversy in this series either

Former New Zealand all-rounder Scott Styris tweets: Why do umpires go on sound? The least reliable evidence as it could be anything. Umpires protecting each other is the main reason DRS is causing controversy!

Could be...

As an aside, Old Trafford looks a right mess to me.

Tidied, though I am in complete agreement with the sentiment

Sooty or Stevie Wonder

Is he?

I thought he was like Amla and born there. Just wiki'd him, Born in Pakistan and his family moved over when he was a wee bairn.

If he's not an Aussie, then KP, Strauss, Prior, Dermbach, trott, compton are not Brits.

What an awful decision

Need to sort DRS out, spoiling the game. Why have it if the umpires won't listen to the technology

It needs clarifying for caught behind decisions. LBW is clear enough now that there can't be any tactical reviews. A simple enough way of doing it would be to have a checklist like there is for LBW, deviation, noise and hotspot. For a decision given out on the field they all have to show no evidence of a nick (as they did for Khawaja) and for a decision given not out at least one of them has to show conclusive evidence of a nick.

So having a British accent defines you as being British?

Not disagreeing with you btw. Just curious.
It means they have been part of this culture for long enough to properly call them british.

Mo farah somalian born with a british dad has lived here for 22 years and sounds like he's from south london.

KP only qualifies due to a grandmother and only moved here as an adult, trott no idea about his heritage but only moved here as an adult, compton british heritage I've got irish heritage doesn't make me irish. Dernbach moved here when he was 14 so lived here 13 years has more claim than the rest.

Prior and strauss have lived in this country since they were kids.
