Be a good to lose i think, let the aussies decide what they fancy doing. Don't think their top 6 will enjoy having to build a platform having chosen to bat

Forecast doesn't look great for Friday when I'm there  Looks a little cloudy in the morning but not too bad. Should be a good day for batting if you get through the first hour or two

And if they're going to be off and on again all day, it would suit bowlers who can rest up more than batsmen who have to get themselves in every time.

It's forecast for sunshine all day though but, Friday is the bowling day. :-?

You need to have a massive reason not to bat at OT, and this isn't it. Bat, no question.

And I predict that if we do bat, we might lose a couple or three early to the swinging new ball, and the shitters will be straight out on here.

So you reckon a 350 run win? ;-)

This thread title looks like a cmd prompt.

NCB sort it out man. You have the power, and you're the arnly mod that gets in here. It could cost us the game, subliminally.

just checked the webcam (5am UK time). all the covers are on (fair enough) and there's a fair bit of water on them...

you'd think that either top order will struggle to get through the first session.

very important test for us. the aussies have had a bit of time to get their act together, we need to keep the pressure on.

It's a much more important test for them.

Bresnan hasn't done anything to deserve to be dropped. No point changing the tean unnecessarily

Depends on the pitch.

IF it was to be like Perth (which it wont ) they'll go with Tremlett but covers on all night apparently little bit of grass on the pitch, overcast they'll go with Bresnan.

Just nipped out to the Post Office, I estimate the temperature outside to be around 2000 degrees. Those clouds ain't going to last long.

Australia win the toss, bat first and all out before tea time.

Sod all this talk of them being dangerous, we can end the series as a contest by 4pm :-)
