The Ashes - Fifth Test, The Oval

We're batting to save a Test. Get used to Test cricket not living up to your expectations sometimes. It's attritional sometimes.

Just spent the day in the pub next to The Oval, fine by me. I love Test cricket and I'm an England fan.

We have been spoilt recently. You want crash, bang, wallop....watch T20

England have been poor this test however. The selection was wrong. It's the Ashes and you pick a side to win a test match, we didnt do that. And we have looked lethargic.

I hope it hasn't given the Aussies momentum as they leave on a tour high

Don't think anyone has a problem with attritional cricket, just with choosing shit teams and generally being mediocre

When there is no chance of either side winning such as today, both teams should shake hands and set up a 40 over game. At least the crowd would get some entertainment

Shame we lost that day yesterday, it could have been entertaining today.

The Aussies have been unfortunate with the weather. :)

Anyone else hear Warney moaning because that toff in the crowd didnt hand the ball back to Faulkner & instead dropped it back onto the outfield.

Its funny how now they are shit they want fair play, the game to be played right & supported in great spirit.

Yet when Australia were the best team on earth, they were the nastiest, snarliest, sledging, vulgar, ruthless bastards going. Them and their supporters....
