This. He was billy bollocks and then when it turned sour, his arse went the Aussie ****.
get shane warne on now the moaning twisty old sod, ask him about it he wouldve called cook worse than shite if he had went on like that. he was like a spoilt school kid grrrrrrrrrrrr:evil:

That was a complete shambles. That last day was a great advert for the game but to then finish like that...

Warney still bitter as fuck. 3-0 flattered Australia, should have been 4-0 ;)

He's right though. Weather saved us at Old Trafford and today would have been a dull draw if it had been early in the series. Only Lords was completely one sided but England got big performances at key times at Trent Bridge and the Riverside.

the weather did save England in Manchester but England have won all the key battles and thats what Ashes winners do.

I'd counter that big performances from Australia at key points in the Trent Bridge and CLS tests made them look closer than they were. Had it not been for 2 freak 10th wicket partnerships at Trent Bridge we would have won by 150+. At CLS we did everything right, set them 300 to win and it was comfortably enough, a strong 1st wicket stand gave Australia hope, but they couldn't build on it. So I'd say we fully deserved to win the 3 tests we did, the weather intervening at Old Trafford is just one of those things that can happen in test cricket, maybe we would have played the day out, maybe we wouldn't. And the weather at the Oval meant that, by rights, a result should never have been on.
