BRENTFORD Fulham
Spurs BRIGHTON
CHELSEA Man u
EVERTON Liverpool
Can only see a definite Brentford win out of those this weekend. Villa will be tough but coming off a Thursday game in Europe may play into our hands.
Game on.

Do I want Europe? I have spent years envying the teams who are in Europe. But then I look at clubs like Nottingham Forest who are in relegation trouble because they are in Europe. But I then think do I crave it enough to think that’s a position worth getting ourselves into if it means we are in Europe next season? Absolutely.

But then I think would survival not be the only way to get the money to create a squad who can play in the league and in Europe? I think yes. But then I think would 6th give us both. The money to create a team capable of playing in the league and in Europe and European football? I think it would certainly do that. To do that we need all of the teams above us to lose.

We can’t rely on teams like Man City finishing top and for Chelsea to win the FA Cup and for Liverpool to turn water into wine. We must try to finish as high up as we can.

Finish as high as we can?
Why did no one already think of that?

A Brighton win looks highly likely
Its a strange one that. Spurs extremely poor but there's the manager link too...draw imo.

Lots of unnecessary overthinking

Could see Chelsea and Everton both losing.

Hopefully Villa game goes to extra time on Thursday. Think they are 2 up after the first leg tho so possibly unlikely. We've won our last two away games in the league v Leeds and the Mags and we had weakened sides out in both so we should give Villa a good game.

Like so many of our older fans (( I’m 75 ) I have longed to see us play in Europe before I die.
Me and my eldest son were discussing if there were any places we wouldn’t want to go,
Our list …..Istanbul, Marseille, Naples..
Any one else you don’t want to play .

I think this is why the conference league is a better bet than the Europa league (the champions league is a different kettle of fish because the finances are very different)-
But basically it's a lower priority with a lot of games where you can realistically play the second team and expect a result- with a few marquee games thrown in (palace had dynamo Kyiv and Fiorentina for instance), with a solid chance of winning it (palace are safe now and can effectively go for it).

Totally agree. In some group games you could play the likes of Seelt, Hjelde, Browne, fuck it give Ba and Hemir a run out.

I know the thread is about teams above us, but if Fulham turn Brentford over, they could go above us, even if we draw at Villa, which id take now.

Belgrade and Zagreb seem a bit edgy, to say the least. Places like Bruges, Rennes or Florence would be mint though
