And due to goal difference that 3 points would actually be worth 4, honestly, neither the Mags or Norwich would swap their positions with ours and yet half our fans are waving the white flag. I thought this area was supposed to be full of tough people, seriously, reckon fans in f***ing Cheltenham would have more balls than half these "hard" Northerners on here....Thank fuck most of our players are foreigners and have more balls than half our fans

Wouldn't be so sure. All season they've put in efforts against the big clubs then bottled it in their next winnable game. You can't say that any team in the relegation zone will get at least a win and a draw from 2 games. We don't how they will react under Benitez and if he can get the same level of performance out of them, or wherever they'll go back to thinking "we're too good to go down" and jsut turn up and expect to beat Palace like they have all season

The lack of bottle on here is alarming, I agree. I've never been more relaxed about any of our recent relegation battles than this one. We've been playing OK and our remaining fixtures are quite decent (way better than when we had Chelsea away, Man City etc a couple of seasons ago).
Beat Arsenal tomorrow and that probably sinks the mags IMO.

That all depends on if we can pick up points though, defeat tomorrow will not be promising as the mags are slowly picking up the points needed whether they below us or not, they won't be if it carries on this way.
