That performance should put the doubters to bed...

Just imagine what we will be capable of after another summer, lads like Talbi, Angulo and Ta Bi hopefully fit and raring to go, Diarra another year of development. Rigg pushing on.

Itll be an exciting close season Rubber mate
100% mate....hopefully yesterday was. Alittle taster of how we may approach games next season, attacking wise. Some of our interplay was outstanding.

Xhaka interview after also pleasing, don’t listen to anyone through the summer who reckon he wants away.
Good double page article in the Times sport section yesterday. To say he's grounded is an understatement. He doesn't fill the fridge at home just so his kids understand that it doesn't just magic up. He grew up with an empty fridge much like a sizeable proportion of our fan base. The kids earn money for doing small jobs. His wife didn't want to come to the area. Now she doesn't ever want to leave. He has the the best of relationships with RLB and sees many parallels with Arsene Wenger. A further insight was the rammy that the players had coming off the field at Castle Greyskull and he put a few things right at half time. He can accept games going away from us but cannot accept players not doing their jobs. On that he is insistent.
His performance yesterday was just magnificent. The tempo of the game was dictated by him. Not one underplayed pass that went amiss yesterday ( from anyone) that puts us under pressure. Balls pinged into feet with immaculate control.

Not all on Adingra, our left back was Masuaku and he was poor, admittedly with little help from Adingra.
MoTD commentator mentioned how poor the game was, weird response to what was an incident packed game with some great football. That said their analysis was shit too. I don’t usually buy in to bias conspiracy but the analysis was definitely biased and the highlights missed some significant moments that didn’t go our way.
It's telling that both players will be elsewhere next season

Fantastic post 👏

...saying Le Bris can't play any other way. Some of the attacking play was a joy to watch today. Fluid, movement all over. Hopefully a sign of things to come next season. Outstanding performance today. Well done lads and Regis👏👏
I was a doubter like, very fearful for us yesterday. Absolutely delighted to have been put 'in my place/to bed'. Great performance & we were v unlucky not to have won by 2, or more goals.

Someone behind us yesterday shouted "Xhaka, yer shite".

He was brilliant yesterday, as he has been most of the season. You can see him constantly talking to his team mates, instructing them and marshalling them - it's like having a player-coach on the field, to be honest!

It won’t put the doubters to bed. “The doubters” are 99% of the time people who wanted him sacked last year and were made to look stupid. Once someone is that idiotic they never let it go. They just wait till we don’t win for three games in a row then start again, making up nonsense like “can’t take us to the next level man”

There was a much better balance to the side on Saturday, with some really fluid changes in positions from the lads, which United didn't have an answer for. Only thing what was missing was a goal, but there were some very encouraging signs.

We had that bite, and energy back from earlier in the season. Hopefully, we can match that performance for the next two games and add a few goals.
