Enzo playing central and full of confidence is a complete game changer

he was running the game popping up everywhere and some of the one touch passing plays we put together were sublime. and he was always the one pulling the strings

never ever put him out wide again

Yeah, I am proud of the team as they played really well today.....however I am a little gutted as Man Utd were there for the taking today, we just needed a little bit extra quality in the final third.

Just need a bit of quality cover in the squad to maintain a higher level for the entire season. If we could give Xhaka and Sadiki a bit of rest at times without there being a massive drop off.....that will come though, really excited about the summer recruitment.
 
Thought that would be one of our toughest games of the season, even wore my unbeaten away shirt (both play off legs, final, mags home and away)

Thought we were outstanding, a constant threat with some great individual performances. Just a shame we had a shite ref.

I'm also a bit gutted we didn't get it over the line (literally) but we did everything right imo. Pretty much flawless.

Some of our passing was the best I've seen from us, players making good positive runs, creating a steady flow of chances, hit the post, forced a couple of penalty shouts, limited them to nowt. It just... didn't go in. And tbh, that's just football.

Play like that next season and we'll win more than we lose, no sweat.

That happens though when you put people in their correct positions. It usually works better . Too many times hes tried to shoehorn plsyers into the team to the detriment of the team

I thought the fluidity on Xhaka, Sadiki and Le Fee was totally different today...all over the place they were. Absolutely brilliant.

Nah, it was difference in stlye of play and movement aswel today. Agree, having Le Fee in the middle made us look totally different going forward....but our rotations in midfield and supporting Brobbey was top class today.

A complete outlier in what has otherwise been an outstanding season with brilliant performances throughout. Today he got the team playing with fluidity and freedom which is an evolution on being tough to beat which we have been all season.

The Forest game was very much an anomaly.

They were mate. Loved the 60yarders LeFee was playing for Talbi. Sadiki was all over as usual. Should have scored and Xhaka was mr dependable in the middle. He just needs to work on his shooting. That 30yarder 2nd half was canny cack :lol:
