Test squad Zimbabwe (and let’s make it the match thread)

As it's a trial 4 day test there are a few different rules to the overs per day and additional time allowed as well as the follow on rules.

Extended daily play for England-Zimbabwe Test​

The impending England-Zimbabwe Test will see a few alterations.
These include an enhanced daily overs limit of 98 from the usual 90 in a five-day Test and a modified follow-on margin of 150 runs from the regular 200-run mark.
Each day will have an extended window of 30 minutes compared to the five-day Tests. Notably, 30 more minutes can be taken to complete the quota of 98 overs per day.

Seems like he's been given assurances he'd be picked regardless. Which is the standard for this current setup for England.

I love the freedom they've given but it's a double edge sword and has it's blatant negatives of loyalty over form before their very eyes.

I don't blame him making some extra £ with no repercussions on his choice not to improve his red ball game instead. As no guarantees he nails down his place and has a central contract for the next 10 years. Could do a really bad injury and then never got anything from IPL or England.

It's easy for us to go he should have focused on England when it's not our money/career. Easier for someone like Brook to turn down IPL when I'd imagine he's England third highest paid player after Stokes/Root.
