We could have an exciting team if Durham make the Quarter Finals
 
Looks almost certain Stokes won't play this series so there will be a question as to who captains in his absence.

Can't see them going back to Root so Pope may be the favourite.

Jordan Cox will also likely make his debut too.

That's the problem. There are times when his place in the side as a batter comes into question.

However I can't see that they have any choice. If Crawley was fit it would have probably gone to him. Root is the only other candidate but I can't see them going back to him.

Curran albeit white ball has been on fire this season. I think it’s surely the most sensible option.

With Wood and Atkinson being crocks we definitely need the extra seamer.

Since he batted 3 he’s done really well . He’s the vice captain ahead of Crawley so not sure why it would have gone to him
