The way the weather has been the toss could be all important, I feel we have a stronger batting line up and more balanced attack. However they are a potent force with both bat and ball, a 1-1 draw would have no shame attached to it. Whatever happens (weather permitting) it should be a cracking 3 match series, its just a shame it's not 5 :-|

With the way the weather is at the moment, it wouldn't surprise me if the only way a drawn series could happen would be 0-0. Hope I'm wrong and we get results from all 3 uninterrupted by rain. Sadly, we could well see a situation like we had against Sri Lanka last year where there's a smash and grab on the last day with a surprise batting collapse.

I wish we'd put Taylor in while we've got a winning side. The kid looks like a natural born leader at 23, I've just got a feeling we'll end up playing him when we're on a losing run with a few other batsmen out of form and end up putting too much pressure on him before he settles in. Look what happened to the Aussies - had a winning team until 2007, didn't bed in any youngsters and then they had a few sudden retirements and went downhill.

I believe cycles of being the best come and go regardless of what you do. Enjoy what you have why you have it rather than trying to predict or cement a side for 4 years hence

Half of our side will all go at roughly the same time Bell, Anderson, Swann, KO, Trott, Prior etc
