Test cricket alive and kicking!!!!

What a brilliant advert for the game this series was, the ebbs and flows, just when one team looked well on top the other came fighting back.

Yes you could pick holes in our performance on the first two tests, but we showed enormous resilience to come from 2-0 down against the best side in the world and ultimately but for rain would certainly have produced a thrilling comeback to be ever remembered and won 3-2

Would love to see this attacking positive mindset be the blueprint for test cricket.

Just simply a great watch and brilliant stuff!

Agree with that.

Long may test cricket continue. I'd hate to see the day when it no longer exists.

I hope so. I do worry about red ball cricket in the future though.
Playing this way only help it mate.

I know you a massive supporter of 4 day county championship cricket, but even you iirc was bored rigid at some of the games last season.

Surely you have enjoyed this season more and the way say Durham have gone about games and played more attacking cricket.

Surely for the future of both 4 and 5 day cricket attacking positive cricket the way to go?

It's been lovely to watch. Most definitely the way to go. I'm just worried with the powers to be. 2023 has been some of the most exciting cricket I've watched both England and Durham and I hope that can continue. It's alive and well for me and I hope it remains that way.
