I can see your point and it's certainly a possibility. I do think he's more likely to drop down a division and look much better against poorer strikers. He's an arsehole but he's used to winning, that will rub off on the squad.

We'll just have to see tbh.
 
Would be a little concerned if I was a villa fan,don't know the details of his contract but would imagine he's on a big wage and I honestly don't think he will play much next year.Thought he was really struggling at times last year but got away with it because of the quality around him
Was a great player in his day but think this season might be one too far

The fact that when he's been out of it over his time here barring the last season and a half when he's not been up to playing regularly in the PL it's been worse escaped you then?

it's also nothing like Rio to QPR. At the time, QPR were throwing money at any old fucker that had nowhere else to go. 4 or 5 of their players were using them as a retirement home including Rio. Their squad included Robert Green, Richard Dunne, Shaun Wright Phillips, Bobby Zamora, Karl Henry, Clint Hill, Joey Barton etc.

If Villa were to go and sign Robbie Keane, Pienaar, Wes Brown, Lescott & Shay Given in the next fortnight then you could compare Terry's time at AVFC to Rio and QPR.

By far the best defender in the championship. Hes still good enough to play in the prem

Everything i've read from him since he signed for Villa has been him talking about Chelsea with the odd thing about Villa :lol:

Terry to villa is very similar to ferdinand to qpr. villa may just get away with it because of the league they are in
