Teams in Europa

A Portuguese second division team are in the group stages as they won the cup.

Their stadium holds 2500.
If they get promoted (0-0 after the first leg) I think theyll have to upgrade the stadium for domestic use,if they don't and it's happened with other clubs I reckon they'll be playing the season at Leiria (25,000 ish)

Missing a fair few there. There's also Real Sociedad, Hoffenheim, Bayer Leverkusen, Marseille, Rennes, and the mighty Torreense
A sentimental return to Bayer for GX

Sorry if it's been covered but is the draw not till end of August?

Also, did I see somewhere with the dates of of the matches posted ?

I guess there's fuck all we can do until the draw, I want to book flights now

I had a double take when I saw the pots for the Europa league. In one of the pots is Banja Luka. I spent 6 very hot and very long months living in a metal container there with 2 other blokes. Not a pleasant experience, but I'll still gan if we draw them.

Congratulations. Qualifying for Europe when I think at the beginig of the season you would have been happy to just stay up. Well done.
Thank you. Been a great season, to a point we may have inadvertently become a blueprint for teams coming up.
Lyon, Bournemouth and Hearts please. Keep it as cheap as possible, whilst having a chance of qualifying.
Don’t think you can play someone from your own country?

I have no idea if that is all the teams who have a chance to qualify or if there will be more (Crystal Palace or Rayo Vallecano definitely being one of them). A lot of decent European teams in 2nd qualifying stage who need to make it through 3 rounds, and then Rangers to top it off. Might actually watch some qualifying games this year 🤣
Cheers for that. Hard work finding owt online

So we play a minimum of 8 games? Is that right? We're going to at least double the amount of European nights in our history.
Don't forget the night Moscow Dynamo played us in a friendly to mark the installation of floodlights at Roker Park.

Would surely be moved to a bigger ground as it is unlikely the a stadium with a capacity of 2500 meets UEFA regulations.

Similar to Welsh side Penybont (where?) playing at Cardiff City's ground

Out of interest, does anyone know when the fixtures were confirmed last year?

This is the most first world of first world problems, but the draw being on Friday, and then the games being locked in on the weekend (when we will be playing a prem game) would be annoying!
