That does not mean they have converged. Convergence means two parallel lines coming together at some point. The Madrid line is galacticos, arrogance, being bad losers, while the Barça line is developing a team based on the Masia, attacking football, promoting sport in general, values (60.000 people watching the girls win the champions semifinal), a club ruled democratically with elections every four years. True enough they lost their way due to the catastrophic management under Bartomeu and COVID - but despite doing all the horrible things you accuse them of, Frankie de Jong is still happily here.

They will no doubt get a new no nonsense manager and normal service will be resumed
Famous teams all over the world have ‘lulls’.

Calling them out for exactly what they are. Yeah they've won plenty but look at the myriad of scandals and controversies. Afforded an advantage over the rest in Spain because of who they are.

Its a massive victory for football when either of them fail to win.

Of course many of these are not Madrid fans and it's gone viral. Objective 67 million. The magic viral numbers.

They’ve converged hugely in the last decade, some of the Barca antics have been pathetic (be it not paying players, paying referees, or some of the sponsorship stuff).
