He says the problem is the way the counties vote and that needs to change. Doesn't like the 2/3 majority.

So he praises North and Campbell..... yet we were relegated. "we got ourselves in a bit of a mess", "we got it wrong"...................

We didn't do homework on Doggett so he couldn't stay very long :lol:

He keeps saying our players are 1st division players.......... clearly didn't show that this year.

Ironically he argues "Durham is a members club...." - he couldn't be arsed to consult us a couple of months ago then lied about it at a members forum where he ended up taking the huff.

"We spoke to all our members........." - no you never!!!! you called the members forum AFTER the vote had gone in. No members were consulted.

"if the clubs had bothered to sit down with members..............i blame it on leadership" - erm......... you didn't bother sitting down with us members!!!

"attracting top quality players.............." - we didn't even know about Dogetts contract situation

He sounds desperate for the Saudi lot to get into Durham.

He's off his rocker this fella
 
It’s a community interest company, not a members club. That’s probably how it gets away with such a little amount of consultation.

I normally enjoy listening to that podcast and I like how Harmy always speaks up for Durham, but that was embarrassing. In fact no, it was worse than that, it’s an absolute disgrace. He was allowed to tell lie after lie after lie - completely unfettered, whilst Harmy and Neil Manthorp tickled his belly.

The tribute at the end from Manthorp was sickeningly cringey too.

I think Harmy is usually decent on that podcast but disappointing he didn't challenge him.

Manthorp is a struggle, and his play by play commentary is shocking.

Regrettably that won't happen-the board of directors are unknowns in cricket circles and appear to have little interest or knowledge of cricket. No doubt Bostock will spout the same platitudes to them which will be accepted without challenge.

It is such, but does that very term not imply that you should consult representatives of that community if you're to act in their interest?
So called "members" are merely season ticket holders and forums should be open to all interested members of the community.

I think Bostock is at the root of everything that is wrong at the club currently but that bit in bold just isn't right.
