@Pancho has answered several replies last night but failed to say why Riv was banned in any of them.... Doesn’t help with the conspiracy theories that are floating around as to why the SMB might want him banned. A simple answered could have stopped all this but my personal view is there’s either external pressure on the SMB to keep Riv quiet or the mod on last night is a bit of an attention seeker and is revelling in the fact they have done this.

No one asked me.

But in any event, due to GDPR, mods are limited in what we are allowed to reveal.

Recently I inadvertently fell foul of this and was demoted from milk to pencil monitor.

My personal view is that the conspiracy theorists need to get a grip.

Sound info but given all that should we assume that nothing will happen for quite a while ? Should the club be more open or is there still a chance this could fall through because of digging in by the likes of Sartori or Short ?

It's likely that NDAs are in place - that's not going to change. I don't think the problem is Sartori or Short (unless they want to buy the hotel and Short is arguing the price) - it really is most likely down to what the group structure is going to look like going forward, and there's really no way of rushing that without the risk of an expensive mistake.
