To be fair any "internet troll" is a tragic excuse for a human being. Going on as if everyone else is sad as fuck whilst you're here day after day thinking you're being "edgy" because you can be a bellend from behind a computer screen. I'd have let him off a couple of times but, having realised that he literally offers nothing to the board and is purely here to wind people up, I'd have got rid. The fact that somehow posters like him stay whilst decent fans get banned is crazy. He'll see this as "a bite" and be pleased, but if that's honestly what gets you off you should look at your life and wonder why you're such a sad, inadequate twat. I've seen the OP that Reiver made, don't think it was homophobic, shouldn't have been a ban unless he's gone on to say a lot worse

You are entirely correct in that we try to do our best and yes occasionally we do get it wrong.

We do tend to adopt a very safety first approach to potential libel or slander, as getting it wrong could put both the member and the board's owner at risk.

Just going from memory and confirmed by the site's logs I have never issued you with a warning or a ban.

In any event, as per the board's terms and conditions, moderators are not obliged to offer explanations for their actions but often do upon request.

As sad as it sounds that is the essence of todays SMB, I can take it or leave it tbh but If I was banned for life tommorow I would'nt miss it one bit compared to when I started posting over 20 years ago.

I’m think we all could, great when it’s good, absolute horrendous at times. As much as the moderation is good there is an awful lot of frustration at times due to blatant wums etc.
Fair enough some banter but there are some posters here purely for a wind up.
Flip the coin and it’s good for traffic....

If you're suggesting I'm a fake account or claiming to be ITK you're mistaken. I'm just a fan who has lurked for years. I only created my account because I think this is big. I do think there will be a lot of nonsense spewed out when the news goes live so I signed up. I know the drill. Call me a mag and I will tough it out.
