I felt sick to the pit of my stomach when I read that post last night, I have 100% trust in your info but it was still a worrying moment, a bit like being told you've won the lottery and then it was all a mistake.

The weird thing is that if we didn’t sign Grigg and instead got say someone from Ligue 2 or something then missed out. The same posters hammering Ross, Grigg, Donald, Hill etc for having no imagination would now be saying

‘Well Grigg was available, why didn’t we just spend the money? We haven’t got a pot to piss in etc etc.

Our transfer and scouting policy needs an overhaul from top to bottom, think that’s evident. Some on here would twist whatever the outcome though and it’s f***ing boring.

I’m not wanting the lad to get a hard time, but he could have posted an explanation and apology. Most of the posters on here would be happy with that, I’d guess, and it’d all be forgotten.

It is important, it’s the biggest thing that’ll happen to SAFC in our lifetimes, it upset a lot of people.
