He used terms "we" and "our" could suggest Hill and Cotton.

There are numerous others if you can be bothered to find them. The article even says the manager "landed his number one target". They will be lying aswell

We weren't sublime like. I think one or two were maybe caught up in the occasion and maybe had one or two beers and look back on it with red n white specs. We were value for 1-0 but let's not kid ourselves that we were any better than that.

I had 2 bottles of vino in club Wembo b4 kick off.....best we've played in years, til the draft Jock reverted to type....

It's friggin' obvious and the various people running the club have said as much. Ross admitted he didn't know the English market, this is why Coton and Hill are there. There's comments in the press about Marcus Maddison - who comes out to respond? Hill. Hill wasn't interested at £2.5m - not Jack Ross.

When we signed Grigg, I can't recall every little thing said, so maybe you've got me beat there, but the way I remember it from the podcast was more that it was Donald asking Ross if Grigg would improve us rather than Ross going up to Donald and saying this is who I want.

Donald said that Ross wanted Grigg but when the price went up for him Ross told him to leave it and they would just go with what they had. Donald thought he'd get him in because Grigg's record at this level was exceptional and he wanted to back the manager. It's all on the podcasts.

Donald may say too much at times or get a bit carried away with himself but I don't see how you can have a go at him for putting his money on a player that seemed worth the risk. Even a half fit Grigg should be putting goals away but he just doesn't look interested and that's not Stewart Donald's fault.

Its contextual Julio, he was given the choice between Will Grigg and Dexter Blackstock, Will was number one target from that choice.

As with everything SD says, the story changes as time goes by, He had originally said that he offered him to JR, JR said he was happy with what he had and that also people told him to stop bidding.

The Maja/Grigg fiasco is on SD, no one else. It's not the end of the word but its pointless making excuses.

Funny as SD said that he offered the player to Jack and that the playing side told him to stop bidding. Also that Jack was happy without another striker. I Wouldnt take everything he says as fact.
He was JR number 1 target, they told SD top stop bidding because the price was getting too high

The point is he was a JR signing not one made by the chairman

Yeah, you had us on toast first half, although didn't do much with it in terms of chances. Second half we made some changes, and you couldn't handle us.
Let’s not get carried away, you made changes and became the better side, but apart from the goals didn’t create a lot either
