Takeover Rumours

Not sure mate, tbh.

Maybe there is a timescale within which the plaintiff can 'appeal' or take the lawsuit to a different defendant.

If MSD Partner's Lawyer believes there is a case, I'm sure they'll be well placed to challenge the £13m damages.

They will be ruthless lawyers.

:mackemx said: I'm jesting seeing as I can't use white text so this is my next white text solution!
They should just give Alvarez another £200m so then we can spend £200m and not affect any FFP or L1 rules given we'd have a -£200m revenue straight away ;)

I do wonder how, if Charlie M has put this altogether, he gets compensated other than in the long term, as I thought that he only had 6 percent of the shares. I did wonder whether SD would restructure the shareholding utilising the exit of Sartori to release shares to Charlie M to get him an allocation of shares as a payment whilst allowing him to retain 6% moving forward. All of this is pure speculation, as I don't know whether Sartori is exiting, but but he hasn't been mentioned in the dispatches referencing who will be with the club moving forward. I would imagine that Juan will want the full amount for his shares if he chooses to sell, leaving Charlie with no real short term return if he ends up retaining 6%. Just random thoughts..........
I think the hold up is down to sartori severance as his £3m is 20% of the shares and he might be looking to hang on to them as they will be possibly worth far more in the future if the takeover is successful

Thanks Janey but that's not what I'm doing.

Everyone who knows me would agree that I really couldn't care less what people think of me, on here or in real life.

I'm no different to any of the 'good guys' .... we're all the same helping each other as much as we can.

I've posted this to reassure people that all the shouting and screaming, from the dummy spitters, doesn't amount to the slightest thing ....

.... it's just noise from jealous people who aren't happy with themselves.

I like being me, it's f***ing great

Don't have to justify yourself and prove to us you are happy with all the responses on here. I wouldn't be. You posted what you heard and had seen in good faith. In hindsight perhaps a mistake but I Don't blame you for wanting to give people good news. In a weird way you are seeing what it must be like being a safc manager, as promises aren't delivered as fast as the fans would like & worry and negativity are delivered in waves from some of the fans. Those type of fans are like that about things in real life, about their jobs, relationships and dreams so don't take it personally old boy, if it didn't come off at all I wouldn't hold anything against you on the board or real life -

People who are being drawn in to the negativity of this takeover process are forgetting that 4 Americans are not just buying a football club, they are buying;

One of the original football clubs from the North of England, 6 time top division winners, a club that is overlaps the community like Seaburn Beach to the North Sea, a club that has been mismanaged on every level in terms of recruitment on players, coaches and even medical staff. The Americans are buying dreams and buying a feeling that if they deliver their promises cannot be experienced at baseball, buying a painting, even watching any other club in the world - paradise call it what you want, they are buying something that was broken but is now healing, they are buying our very hearts and this needs time and care - the correct surgeons need to operate - breathe, log off for a bit and remember to support the Red and White Stripes together.

Think we could see that on Saturday night if he doesn’t start getting this team to perform, will be disappointing with anything other than a win whilst playing well and going for it.
His style of football has been baffling since November last year? Score = sit back and absorb and concede in the last 10 minutes, push up and we score, 2 if we are lucky = Sit back and absorb and concede in the last 10 minutes or hang on for dear life and try not to get a draw.

I really wish he would go for it in games instead of sitting deep, look at the Barnsley and Peterborough first half's last season, and the first half of the Checkatrade Final, we destroyed them with good fast flowing football, then became bi polar and certainly fucked the final up.

He has it in his locker to produce the attacking flowing football, I just find it bizarre that we always revert to sitting deep and everybody can see what is going to happen?

For the decent people on here, this is the latest message I've received, last night, below in bold.

For the rest.

Please tell me how I could've invented a story, two weeks back, that an art dealer who supplies his friend Glenn Fuhrman had shown me a WhatsApp message, at his home, confirming he'd bought the club.
I posted that information, as fact, on the board. I also posted that the owners would be arriving for the 'Burton game' which subsequently happened. I said Donald would be flying up to meet them which was subsequently confirmed. Shouting 'liar' might carry some weight if any of you had proved me wrong or posted the slightest piece of contradictory evidence. But, in reality, you have nothing but feet stamping and toy throwing. It's obvious that some of you, for whatever sick reasons, are desperate for this takeover to fail. Either that or you get your kicks out of posting infantile drivel on a chat for. I won't be interrogated on here by a small bunch of bitter losers ... If anyone wants to call me a liar to my face I'm at your disposal.

“Things still going really well and hopefully an announcement next week but common sense tells you that both sides have been instructed by the lawyers to keep their mouths shut until it’s made official via an official media conference as the current silence from SAFC’s hierarchy is absolutely deafening.
Although Jack Ross refered to having talked to some of the new owners in his pre Accrington media conference today, it generally seems as if the whole club is in lockdown although they’re going to have to come above ground for Accrington on Saturday. It will be interesting to see how many media bods raise the takeover question in the lead up to the game and in the post match media conference with management and players, because it will be beyond belief if the subject does not get raised and would suggest that there is some sort of media embargo in place forbidding questions on the subject. It’s happening, it’s close”.

Splendid.
Cheers for the update.

:oops:Guys? f***ing hell man, we're not officially taken over and it's now "Guys this, guys that!". I can accept posts about monorail, planespotting, talk of Messi/Mourihno or any big name joining us, a 63,000 roofed stadium, Champions League winners by 2025 etc etc but save the f***ing Americanisms for when it's announced as that's delusion beyond belief!

Calm down Dude, calm down

Agree with you and it coincides with the criticism he received for allowing teams to score first and then trying to blow them away, so he tightened things up a tad too much I believe - the best example of this was the reigning in of Power. Also, I'm sure I read somewhere that teams in this division rarely keep clean sheets.
