Exactly. I just don't get why Reyna is looked back on so fondly. We went from players who were dominating the middle of park to this stumpy little American who for the most part seemed ineffective to me. Slow, seemed laboured getting about the park, wasn't exactly the most physically imposing player we've ever had. He made 29 appearances and we lost 16 of them - we won more games with Paul Thirlwell.

I'm not saying he didn't have quality (well maybe I did looking back at the post I replied to), but he wasn't a quality player for us, at least not very often.

To be honest I look back at them all in a good light. Was a brilliant time back then. Early 20s, football team was good to watch, a real buzz. And then it went wrong and I’m suddenly in my 40s. Damn.

So roll on the takeover :lol:

Stirbling Mackem he became known as. He claimed it was a joke then left. Probably on here as someone else now. He always seemed alright to me.
