They probably spent a bit.... they had a Thai billionaire in charge.... but I don't remember a lot of marquee signings. But what won them the Prem was a clever coach who emphasised accurate passing and a recruitment team that brought in pace all over the field. Combined with some major clubs in transition, that was enough.
I'd settle for that.

This takeover is taking over my life. I get up i check this thread, I go to work I ask people if they have heard anything about the take over. On my break and lunch at work I check this thread. I finish work, jump in the car then before I set off home I check this thread. I get home and piss my lass of by constantly checking my phone including during eating my tea at the table, I go to bed and before I go to sleep i check for any updates. This is me. I'm in the last 2 weeks of a masters dissertation and i'm thinking of requesting an extention due to this carryon 🤣
