It’s poor getting so carried away with this before it’s cast in stone, we’ve seen how foolish other clubs have looked when nothing comes of it .
Printing and selling T shirts about Dell already ? oh dear .

Yes, lets all sit here stony faced until it happens ...

... then we can sit here stony faced until they invest ...

... then we can sit here stony faced until we're promoted ...

... ad infinitum

What's it to you if people get excited, seriously?

This place is going to absolutely erupt when it's announced. Can't wait.

Then we can start pouring over the actual details rather than speculating.
So are you saying this thread could keep going AFTER the takeover? Whoo hoo bring it on, daily updates on the building of the monorail would be a good start

All media must have been warned off. Was discussed on some pages and has to be the case. I still find it strange there's no talk but is what it is. Perhaps these are the texas mafia ;).

I would be happy to be able to scout youngsters and bring them to club with minimum fear of losing them to Arsenal etc etc.

Also to have ground improvements and a team that can hold its own in the Prem whilst stuffing the Mags whilst they swap divisions with us.

I have to say I agree, if it goes tits up we will be a laughing stock.

We'll be a laughing stock whether we get excited or not ...

... do you think the Mags would ever say, "Well their massive investment fell through, but they didn't get excited so we'll say nowt."

Seriously, what kind of Bizzaro World do some of you people live in ...

Just being realistic mate. I'm as excited as the next fan but printing T-Shirts is a little premature IMO.

Just getting a bit tired of people coming on here shoving FFP in our faces, or 'having money isn't spending money' ...

.... FFS, we've had years of misery, let us have a bit fun
As somebody else said, what have we got to lose? We are at the lowest point in our history of 140 years, and the only way is up. There is absolutely no way that we are heading anywhere but on an upward trajectory. If you can't enjoy that then you are either seriously depressed or not a Sunderland fan.

exactly this,i've read a lot of the posts on this and i think it's brilliant, even just having the thought that people as wealthy as they are have taken an interest in Sunderland is enough to give all supporters a lift after years of struggle, there's been some great threads on this post, brilliant gifs and there's still a few days left so i hear,i'm sure this board will enjoy every minute of it,so,to the doom mongers on here, gi ya heed a shake and enjoy it

If anyone is bored this morning read this. The Chronicle are seething. They’ve outdone there-selves with the bitterness on this one.

I was getting worried when the article talks about it being done in “a few weeks” then noticed it was written on the 23/08/19......
