Take Klopp out the equation and put in one or two bad managerial appointments and they'll struggle as their owners aint prepared to bankroll them like the likes of Chelsea and City do.

People forget when he first rocked up they had a front line of Ricky Lambert, Origi and David Ngog!

You see to have forgotten that making up fictional facts, in your bedroom, doesn't make them true ...

...you might feel safe there but we're not all like mammy

What you've just said about Liverpool's front line is nonsense.

And the advice you're sanctimoniously doling out to Sunderland supporters is just as bad tbh.

We'll have whatever expectations we choose, dream of glory and hope for trophies ...
... that what all football supporters do, no one ever claimed it has to be logical.

And as for these people saying it's all pointless because of QPR, Barnsley, Newcastle, Ellis Short, etc dear me ...

No they had Benteke, Jerome Sinclair, Firmino, Sturridge, Ings and Origi.

Lambert had already left as had Ngog.

City are set up for life, Liverpool will only be up there as long as Klopp sticks around - their owners don't spend enough unless it involves selling a top player to keep them up their unless they have one of the best managers around keeping them punching above their weight.

Its why im slightly sceptical of American ownership - Kroenke is a very wealthy bloke and married into the Walton Dynasty yet spends very little on players same as the Glazers and as I mentioned FSG at Liverpool.

Whether these guys do things differently who knows however as said FFP is a bastard in trying to compete with the plastic clubs already dining at the table.
It theory though over time it should even itself out as ffp applies to everyone. Guardiola is also a huge part of city’s success and he doesn’t usually stick around for longer than 3-4 seasons. Where they go next will be interesting. Perhaps that’s the gig David Moyes is holding out for?

Anyway a bit of backing get back the premier league and stay there would be great. The money of course is one thing, how wisely that money is invested is key. Young players from the football league and overseas who can develop and make the step up would be great. Investment in our scouting system is paramount
