Just waiting patiently for our club to start a whole new chapter. Been 50 years since my first game (can’t recall it as I was a toddler) and we’ve never really been a wealthy club, always the underdog...... this may just be about to change and I never thought that that would happen in my life time.
After 50 years, another few days is nothing.
I did wonder if SD would actually become a paid CEO as well as a main board member acting on behalf of the shareholders. That may be one of the key issues that needed to be resolved before completing.
I would also think that if MD is purchasing a significant amount of shares, regardless of whether he wants to be passive, he may want to look the club over before finalising. Synchronising schedules with guys of his stature can often be challenging.

Similar ,mine was 1972 went with me dad and uncle, can't remember who we played but I do remember I had one of those wooden rattles or whatever they were called and a little wooden seat that you hung on the railings happy days
