you should have tried being 5yrs old in 1955. My dad controlled using a 'tawse' (SP> look it up) made of leather and hung on a hook on the mantlepiece. It gave me discipline but also a festering hatred.

Can’t imagine anything will be announced today.
As much as the press seem well behind the news there’s been not a sniff of an announcement in the media today.
Makes no sense to announce it without letting the press know!
