It is mate. Ssid it years ago. I'm a felling lad however all my mates are from Sunderland I had a bar through there for 11 years and the place has been neglected for whatever reason. Could always see the possibilities there with that riverside and coast maybe the council had a say in all this. Maybe these people can see a massive dream and impact that will affect the whole of the North east but Sunderland in particular.
 
The SD tweet has made this more confusing I thought he was selling the company or is he just helping the new owners out as gesture of goodwill

Potential for the area is unbelievable.
 
It's getting a bit surreal. ALS already have their Sundelland t-shirt, the Roker Report are discussing data analytics 'under our new owners'... and yet we still have no official announcement.

he sold the insurance company mate, he’s opening the Bridle Leasing business in Sunderland.
