OK, once again please bear in mind that whatever I post will be seen.

It's my own personal opinion that it's not the cost of sacking Ross that's the problem.

Think back to Newcastle, Bruce and Sheff Wed.

That's all I can say.
Aw man @Reiver pack this in . I get a new cuppa tea, refresh the link and bang, another half hour down the pan. Mind, this makes a ton of sense, get in a good new boss and then see how sharply player and agent interest jumps ... :D

Anyone else starting to think Reiv hasn't actually told us anything?

If I hadn't read a single one of his posts I'd still know as much as people that had. In fact I'm sure it was the media that broke it not happening until next week before Reiv anyway.

He guessed at Friday he never said defo Friday.

His hints that were appointing a new manager have stick his neck on the line like

I have absolutely no reason to doubt what you’ve been saying but this is a bit far fetched. We are haggling with a club over a manager and it’s nowhere in the press ? Everyone in the world was aware of the Bruce situation when it was being played out.

If that happens then I'll hold my hands up that I was wrong. As much as I want Ross gone, I just can't see it happening immediately and no one else is reporting it.

For maximum exposure Wednesday makes sense for an announcement. This weekend the GNR will be the media main focus of attention. On Tuesday the football media will be focusing on England. Wednesday is looking like a dead day for the media so this would be ideal imo.

"L1, Championship AND PL" manager?

It's either Eddie Howe or we're getting Dave "Harry" Bassett out of retirement.

Ha'way the new Wimbledon, cannot wait for that FA Cup win with Lawrie S-oz-turk heading the winner...
