Wild specsavers speculationNot up to speed but I see we are discussing a new manager. Has Ross been sacked, do we hear he's going to be sacked, or is it all just wild speculation?
He's getting peddled imo.Wild specsavers speculation
He should have been sacked months ago, he’s got no future if the newbies want success. Not up to speed but I see we are discussing a new manager. Has Ross been sacked, do we hear he's going to be sacked, or is it all just wild speculation?
I think youd be in the very small minority there mind.If Allardyce comes back it would sour the entire thing for me. Mind you, the fat prick will be sniffing about the pockets of the new owners like a truffle hog given half a chance.

It often happens with new owners and he hasn't set up exciting teams. Personally, I'd keep him bit if we could attract a top bloke, I'd have few regrets. I'm not convinced by the team JR has around him. He's getting peddled imo.
Not for me. Been and gone.I think youd be in the very small minority there mind.
Thanks for that excellent summation GG!Mainly speculation. The announcement of the takeover was expected to be tomorrow, sounds like it's completed but some issue is holding up the announcement, there's been suggestions that it's to do with staffing and, with the manager the only major change they could make upon arrival, people are thinking it's quite possible they're wanting to make a change. Reiver said he asked his source about whether a new manager was coming in but didn't get a reply. He's now said he's heard about a name who will be good in L1, champ and prem, so presumably he's heard something about a manager. Guesswork at this stage but Ross going wouldn't be a surprise
Hope we get a new manager soon as i know we were looking but people were calling bullshitMainly speculation. Minted but there's a hole in the middle and Reiver is playing f***ing polo at some country estate in a few hours. What’s that guys username... rivier something? On the piss up in Croatia & need to ask if were minted yet to fully enjoy my night
Don't think Ross has improved us.It often happens with new owners and he hasn't set up exciting teams. Personally, I'd keep him bit if we could attract a top bloke, I'd have few regrets. I'm not convinced by the team JR has around him.
Mooreeneeooo...lolAye maybe, he'd be a decent shout. Mind from what Reiver said about how he'd lose all credibility if he said the name it sounds like, assuming it's a manager, it must be someone we'd almost laugh at him for suggesting, and I don't think Hughton (or Allardyce to be fair) really fall into that bracket. It's going to be a long few days!
Him, and Wenger, seem more suited to DOF roles. I agree with the age argument as managers.Aye, it would be a very popular move overall. Mind @frot made a very good point about Allardyce's age, at about 70 will he really be likely to consider what you'd have to think would be an at least 3 if not longer year job? Can't see the appeal for him really
Better atmosphere and team spirit. Still not a Sunderland team that I enjoy watching but I'm falling out of love with the modern game anyway.Don't think Ross has improved us.
