With whom do they replace Ross?

That's the several billion dollar question. How do you square the circle of "we're the richest club in the known universe, but we're also in league one" ?

I'd worry anyone A-list who'd take it would be doing so for the money and I'd like to let someone with good philosophy build the club slowly so they and the squad can grow with us through the leagues as Leicester and Bournemouth have done. Not as exciting but a better bet in the long-term I'd think.

Read that earlier, absolute mag rag. If it was them getting these investors it would all be positive, good times might be coming etc, just as it was when that Sheikh was linked previously. As soon as it's us they've got to try and sound as negative as possible. You can tell they're absolutely gutted!
Exactly. If having owners who want to put their own wealth in is pointless then why the fuck are they punching horses, taking their shoes off, boycoutting and shouting at shops.

My grandad was a Roker park regular during the period when we were a bank of England club, he loved Roker. Not sure what he would have made of the SOL or now effectively the bank of America club.

What he always told me was, you support two clubs, Sunderland and whoever is playing against Newcastle.

Wise man your grandar

Said it once, I’ll say it again, arsene wenger

And make no mistake, Messrs Fuhrman, Phelan and Platek, with Michael Dell in the background, are heavyweights.
Even so, it is not the be all and end all. According to the most recent Deloitte Money League, Manchester United are the planet’s third richest club, yet finished sixth in last season’s Premier League. Despite dominating their own leagues, second-placed Barcelona and fourth-placed Bayern Munich have not won the European Cup for four and six years respectively. Everton were ranked the world’s 17th richest club, Newcastle United 19th.

Shitting their pants man trying to convince themselves even if it happens it won't make a difference.

If it was the other way around the Chronicle would of had at least 6 different special edition papers. One for each investor, one for Dell (alot of the simpletons wont know about Dell computers) and one comparing how wealthy they would be compared to other clubs.

Must be absolutely gutted and its brilliant!

Not every day, but that is the sort of figures we get to on a matchday - probably higher when a manager comes in or leaves. Transfer deadline day used to be the big one but seems to have died down the last few years. Roy Keane broke the servers (and it wasn't because he was angry with them).

There are a hell of a lot of lurkers who either don't have accounts or don't bother signing on when they visit and god knows how many "journalists" scour the site for news.
How do I put myself forward to be a mod ?
