I don't doubt it. I just don't think it's going to change much at all. Genuine question , haven't the ffp rules changed anyhow to make what Man City did impossible?

Also how are new owners going to make money out of It. Even to get to mid table
PL would take a fortune and they aren't going to make anything back.

Anything they could make financially from SAFC would be relatively irrelevant to them given the scale of their wealth. It has to be about the challenge and wanting to win - I can’t see any other motivation!
The PL is the biggest sporting competition in the world, they will want to compete. If they really get the bug and it becomes a pissing competition then anything is possible

I think the BBC (especially that lot in Newcastle who have a pathological anti-SAFC bias) know the short end of fuck all. However @Reiver and his cohorts on here have managed to cross-reference and confirm a lot of pieces that add up to a story. (That's what proper journalists used to do y'knar)
I'm going with tomorrow, as predicted last weekend.
I can't believe it myself, but I've read every post on this thread!
People like the ones who are investing in us dont have the time to hang around for a media day next week. They will have plans and places to go so i am sure if they have flown in today the most likely outcome (a la occams razor) is an announcement tomorrow.

Banned which is just as well as there would be around 900 pages....200 of them would be filled with his shit

I’ve had plenty arguments and disagreements with people on here, taken a few bits of abuse and it’s nee bother. It’s only the internet and I’m fairly certain in real life I’d probably get on with them alright as it’s a bit carry on here.

However, the poster in question really got on my tits. So fair play to him.

The tiniest little bump in the process and see who surfaces to bring their doom and gloom. They’ve just been waiting to pounce on it.

Yeah I could understand any billionaire taking over a club for a project and the fun but not to make money. Football is hard to make money from and even if you do it's just peanuts to what people like this are worth anyhow. It would be like us going to loads of effort just to make a tenner

Could be one of two things ;
1 the flight and spicy breakfast needs longer to digest
2 There was a fault with the laptop charger and they’ve had to order a new one

3. Their was a mixup on booking the copters and they instead took a chauffered drive from Ponteland airport... and the limos could
Rarely see a private helicopter overhead. Only Fat Mikes a couple of hours before and after a Mag game. One just gone over very low, maybe to the AOL.???? Anyone close by?

Thank fuk someone is on copter watch.

Bet @Roger want's it to drag on a bit with the amount of traffic this thread is generating.

Is this a record for most views? Over 1m?

It's hard to believe what with this thread and the Brexit stuff in the politics forum, but both the site traffic and number of visitors are actually well down on normal this week. It's all just very concentrated in a couple of places.

Last few days have seen < 17K unique users per day (normally between 20K and 35K) and < 400K page views/day (normally between 500K and 1M).

The site was seeing treble the traffic in the last week in May (play-off final week) compared to this week.

It's possible but this mix of people are debating serious issues.

They might all agree in the next 5 minutes or it could drag on for days.

This of this forum but real life
Cheers. Seems a wasted journey for the investors today then, with them due to fly back Saturday. Can't see them flying back over Monday or early next week for press conference marra. They obviously came over today for it to be announced before Saturday?
