Takeover Rumours

Anyone else find themselves whistling the tune for "I'm in the money"?
No. I’m still left wondering how this takeover will go. And although I have nothing to back this up with, I think that nothing much is going to change. Perhaps I’m of the vintage that nothing good ever happens to Sunderland. I desperately want to believe reiver though with his optimism and what he has heard and what he has been posting.

We are loaded. Get used to it

Bit harsh like
Not really, He was hopeless. He liked to hide during games by running into areas where he couldn't receive the ball. He didn't bother taking a penalty at Wembley and put in pretty much two no-shows over the duration of both. He's let his mouth run about the whole Sunderland Til I Die documentary since he left and acheived back to back relegations during the worst period in our clubs history.

Whilst I believe this takeover is happening, I really think folk should calm down and definitely not start the piss taking with the mags just yet.
I remember a lad on here who used to post stuff he was getting from Quinny himself and some of that fell flat on its face.
In particular a manager who was about to takeover and a number of players who were signing and didn’t.
How many times was NZogbia, Scholes and Robbie Keane seen in Seaham Hall.?

This.

If and when it happens they are investors. No one has a clue how much that investment might be. What I fell sure about is that they will not be investing all their billions into the club.

When this goes through I can’t see wads of cash pouring into the club. Yes, these fellas are loaded, but that’s personal wealth. They are managing funds for a group and SAFC are only one very small part of the investment strategy. At the end of the day they will want to turn a profit from the club.

I do t think we will see big differences in the medium term but maybe more sustained investment over a period of time.

Would be interested to hear what Reiver thinks?

They can’t make money wallowing in League1 or even the Championship...they need to get to the PL to maximize the investment.
